Sales Assistant

What you'll do

Under dynamic and complex environment, the Sales Assistant needs to support
the team to deliver incremental growth and profitability via strong and
profitable relationships with customers and effective communication and
collaboration internally.

Your key responsibilities

* Own the order to cash process and partner with Account Managers on the customer relationship
* Receive orders from customers through different channels (e.g. email, phone, eCommerce, EDI), create orders in SAP and communicate confirmation/acknowledgement to customers and own the order including changes
* Check orders received, i.e. Available to Promise check (liaise with supply chain) to respond back to the customer within ‎48 hours, validate quotation of the order price and payment terms, options for improving order pattern
* Receive, own and communicate with customers on logistic complaints. Process and surveillance of Customer Complaint and identify potential problem and source of solution.
* Coordinate formulation and technical requests from customers with relevant internal stakeholders.
* To coordinate MEA Distributors Activities
* To organize and maintain the managers (digital) agenda:
* To handle all incoming and outgoing post and e-mail messages:
* To handle telephone calls and requests:
* To provide administrative support:
* To provide facility service:
* Administering CEP / DMF from customers/distributors
* Backup key account manager
* Customer requests for third party audit reports
* Ecommerce support

You bring

* Bachelor's degree (preferably science based).
* At least ‎3 years experience as an assistant in the business context.
* Excellent skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).
* Familiar with Incoterms, liability matters pertaining to Insurance
* Solid understanding of SAP R3 SD Module
* Accurate, solution-oriented and customer friendly communication style (phone/email
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication, both written and verbal in native language.
* Very good command (written & verbal) of English and French is a prerequisite
* Have a "can do" attitude.
