Responsibilities:
Creative is accepting Technical Specialist applications for an anticipated
USAID-funded education program in Egypt. Technical specialists will manage and
provide overall technical contributions to their area of focus while ensuring
that program objectives are achieved. We are seeking long-term candidates to
serve as technical experts in the following areas:

Basic and/or early grade education
* Teacher training and coaching, teaching and learning materials
* Universal design for learning, curriculum design and improvement
* Gender-sensitive pedagogy and curriculum, and inclusive education
* Blended learning, digital learning tools
* Formative and summative assessment tools
Qualifications:
*
Advanced degree in education, literacy, early grade reading, or related field;
* A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated relevant experience in Egypt; experience providing technical leadership for education activities
* Dynamic individual with demonstrated knowledge of early childhood and primary education sector, early grade learning approaches for reading, experience working with government and/or Egypt-based NGOs/CBOs in education and literacy, assessment, and supplementary materials.
* Familiarity with the common approaches to improve education outcomes, including those of USAID and other international donor organizations working in Egypt
* Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders in the public and private sector, other donors, and other key stakeholders.
* Prior experience with USAID or similar donor operating procedures, regulations, and reporting requirements.
* Strong management and leadership skills.
* Advanced professional proficiency in Arabic and English required.
