Visualization & Debug Group (VDG) is looking for a long-term (‎6 months)
Software Development Intern. The successful candidate will join
Design Solutions R &D team and will have the opportunity to participate in
shaping the future of the next generation Design Management solution in
the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry.
Responsibilities:
* Design, improve, and implement commercial software products that meets functionality, usability, reliability, and performance requirements.
* Interface with other software developers as needed to understand and manage interdependencies of project tasks.
* Participate in task investigation, work breakdown, and schedule estimation.
* Keep project stakeholders informed of project risks and status.
* Collaborate with other functions to understand and support customer needs and requirements.
* Write and maintain functional and design specification documents.
* Work with different software technologies to achieve business objectives.
Required Experience/Skills:
* Senior undergraduate student in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
* Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) using C/C++.
* Proficient in programming and software engineering.
* Very good knowledge of Software algorithms and data structures.
* Excellent analysis, critical reasoning and problem solving skills
* Highly developed communication & presentation skills.
* Team player, dynamic, persistent and self quick learner.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
* Working experience with Qt framework.
* Good knowledge of Design Patterns.
* Familiar with UML diagrams.
* Experience with Java, Eclipse plugins and Unix/Linux operating system environments.
* Knowledge in hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog and SystemVerilog).
* Good understanding of digital design and/or verification flows.
