Role Overview:
Customer Systems Analysts will be focussed on business rules specifically
authoring new claims rules (as well as refactoring existing ones).
We have a target to save roughly £30m on claims this year which will only be
achieved through analysis, development and the evolution of the claims rules
in InRule. We currently have a backlog of 25 items varying from simple
complexity to high complexity. We are expecting many more new rules to be sent
our way from the 60 transformational programmes over the next 3 years. Right
now, we've been asked to look at Duplicate claims which we are currently
recovering money for retrospectively to the value of £2.4m.
What you'll do:
* Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of capabilities of our customer servicing systems, including Pulse, InRule, eGain, Genesys and LivePerson.
* Provide subject matter expert support in creating, updating, and refactoring business rules for business engines (Pulse, InRule).
* Take ownership for the clarification, interpretation and implementation of solutions and how they are incorporated into the Rules Authoring Tool
* Deliver the best solutions for business rule improvements that support Bupa's goals by fully understanding the capability/limitations of the rules system
* Test the functionality of new and existing rules to ensure they're fit for purpose by overseeing planning, development, and execution of rules
What you'll bring:
* Previous experience in customer services
* Previous experience within a regulated IT environment preferrable
* Previous experience working with InRule or other rule authoring applications essential
