PDI/Prep Technician

We require a PDI/Prep Technician of the highest calibre to join our busy
Aftersales department at our SKODA Dealership in Burntwood. We offer a superb
opportunity to the right person who is able to demonstrate a successful and
stable track record.
Role and Responsibilities:
* To undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard to meet company and franchise requirements
* Measure, test and diagnose vehicle faults as and when required by the Service Manager
* Repair diagnosed vehicles, replace parts, lubricants and consumables where required
* Record all service and repair operations as required by the company and the manufacturer
* Work in a safe and professional manor, operating to health and safety standards
* Identify additional work and maintenance requirements on customer vehicles using an established EVHC process
The ideal candidate will:
*
Qualified to NVQ level ‎3 (or equivalent)
* Have at least ‎2 years' experience of working in a Franchise Dealership (or similar)
* Possess excellent customer service skills
* Take responsibility for the safety, standard and quantity of their work
* Hold a full UK driving licence
This position is within a busy sales environment, as such you will be provided
with a competitive remuneration package and vehicle as well as industry
leading product and manufacturer training. This is a fulltime position with ‎23
days paid annual leave, raising to ‎25 with longevity of service.
