Scope: Brand(s) owner, responsible for the planning, developing and directing
marketing efforts for a particular brand in order to enhance equity and value.
Functional Responsibilities: - Generates insights at portfolio level, fine-
tunes insights generated by subordinates and ensures brand activities are well
based on consumer insights. - Adapts brand and portfolio strategy to fully
build on channel & customer strategy as well as customer & consumer purchase
drivers - Contributes in the creation of the category strategy - Defines clear
commercial and strategic roles of brands in the portfolio - Leads the
development of brand strategy - Consistently tracks brand performance to
propose improvements to strategy and plan - Manages the portfolio and SKU mix
towards optimal profitability - Initiates and decides on innovation concepts
that leads to meeting brand objectives and maximizes growth of business. -
Challenges agencies to consistently raise the bar on their media and creative
ideas - Leads the brand planning process and ensures all brand activities work
together to deliver the brand objectives. - Create organizational alignment
and commitment to effectively roll out the planned activities through other
functions (Sales & TM). Leadership Responsibilities: - Job holder cooperates
with multidisciplinary teams within the OpCo to achieve projects objectives -
Job holder manages and coaches effectively his/her brand team to achieve brand
objectives - Job holder manages external agencies and suppliers to deliver
quality work on time in full - Job holder to keep manager informed at all
