The purpose of this role is to contribute to the design and development of
products
As a Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for:
* Performing All kinds of cement testing, mixing, rheology
* Performing QA/QC for Cement and All cementing chemicals, Fluid compatibility Testing, Apparent Wettability Testing of spacer and Flushes.
* Communicating results with Cementing engineers.
* Applying of scientific research and development in a lab environment
* Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision.
* Resolving problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent
* Working together with people from the business unit. Specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues.
* Communicating with direct team and supervisor. Presenting to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have High School or Diploma in Chemical field or equivalent
* Have a familiarity with lab testing
* Be able to demonstrate relevant experience in Oil and Gas or Energy/Power industry
