Job Summary:
Under general direction of the Site Supervisor the Field Service Technician
plans and coordinates on-site activities relative to the daily operation and
maintenance of the P5CTS equipment for which Cubic Defense Applications, Inc.
- Saudi Arabia (CDA-SA) and CGD is directly responsible. This position
supports the Royal Saudi Air Force, F15S Air Combat Maneuver & Instrumentation
(ACMI) program.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assists Site Supervisor with liaison activities between CDA-SA, CGD, United States Government (USG), Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and other foreign representatives.
* Assists Site Supervisor to ensure that no work or use of any part of the P5CTS equipment, outside of support for normal System Missions, is accomplished without written authorization from the CDA-SA/CGD Program Manager and coordinated with USG.
* Assists Site Supervisor with instruction, direction, performance, demonstrations of ACMI operations and supplies information on the proper operation, maintenance, service, repair and on the operating limitations of the P5CTS ACMI equipment.
* Assists Site Supervisor with identifying and analyzing equipment malfunctions and utilizes various maintenance and repair manuals, test equipment, wiring diagrams, schematics, electronic devices and electrical equipment.
* Assists Site Supervisor with rework, repair, test, troubleshoot and maintain equipment and give verbal and/or written instructions to subordinates.
* Assists Site Supervisor with records of all maintenance activities in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Assists Site Supervisor with operational support accompanied by hardware and software maintenance of the P5CTS equipment.
* Interact with RSAF personnel on a daily basis in direct support of user operational requirements, maintenance and supply requirements.
* Consult with CGD engineering sections to determine solutions to unusual problems encountered.
* Provide or assist in other related duties as required, including scheduling, logistics, quality performance monitoring, etc.
* Support the set-up of project equipment when required
* Work as one team and support colleagues with their duties when required to ensure the successful provision of service to the customer

* In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Skills and Experience
Essential
* Proven and extensive work experience in a technical service-related field in a comparable role.
* Ability to comply with the company standard practice as it applies to field assignments.
* Ability to adapt to a remote and/or a foreign environment.
* Proven ability to use Microsoft Office products.
* Ability to adapt to a remote and/or a foreign environment.
Desirable
* Military experience would be beneficial
* Weapons Loader or Avionics or UAV-Radar and Radar Communications or Air Defense Radar Technician Background preferred (USA, USAF, USN, USMC, RSAF, RSAD)
* Previous experience working in a repair environment
* Ability to solder
* Experience and ability to read and interpret drawings (schematics)
* Ability to instruct

Please note in order to secure this role the following are required:
* Active United States SECRET Clearance (or CURRENT) Secret (or higher) REQUIRED.
* KSA-Visa requires United States State Police Background Clearance Verification for entry and work.
* Ability to obtain (or currently has) RSAF security clearance with a background check performed is required.
