We have an opportunity for an Engineering Program Manager in Dhahran, KSA to
lead the project engineering functions for KSA and Bahrain, and to ensure HPS
delivers best in class solutions to meet customer expectations and at the same
time achieving safety, quality, schedule, and financial goals. Lead the
technical execution, functional and engineering management disciplines
necessary to enhance the competitive position of HPS to meet growth objectives
of the company.
Manage the engineering workforce in-country and drive the optimum execution
and also at the same time taking in consideration the country requirements
regarding localization and in parallel enhance and optimize the GES back-
office content across the board. Drive and grow the overall skills set of the
local resources in country. Manage the key targeted metrics, e.g., over/under
utilization, average engineering cost, and other. Ensure delivery excellence
through standardizing on best practice ad driving digitalization acceptance.
Engineering Program Manager Responsibilities**
* Meet regularly with Saudi Aramco P&CSD and address their overall related concerns.
* Responsibility for the Engineering and Workforce planning within the KSA and Bahrain engineering groups
* Support staffing of engineering workforce utilized by Projects Organization and PMCs across the country.
* Assembling high performance teams and driving ongoing improvement in Skills & Effectiveness across KSA and Bahrain
* Optimizing delivery of projects and engineering to achieve continuous improvement and attain productivity targets.
* Ensuring effective performance management processes, development of future management/engineering capabilities with attractive career plans and detail IPD across the engineering Team.
* Be a change agent - influence, consult, and lead efforts for sharing and standardizing of best practices and processes.
* Optimize the delivery of projects and engineering to achieve continuous improvement and attain productivity targets.
* Assembling high performance teams and driving ongoing improvement in Skills & Effectiveness
* Drive planning and coordination and execution of the Projects Engineering within the local organization
* Interface with the Engineering Excellence organization for standard process and engineering tools requirement and share best practices.
* Responsible for meeting the localization requirements.
* Responsible for GES utilization in KSA and Bahrain and providing support to drive efficiency and optimization of GES resources on those countries.
Qualifications
* Bachelors' degree in engineering and/or MBA
* Appropriate technical qualification for role
* Project experience as Engineer in at least one core discipline
* Extensive experience in the Industrial Automation
* At least 5 years leading engineering teams in the Industrial Automation.
* At least 10+ years of applicable experience in projects
* At least 5 years of Saudi Aramco project execution experience
* Expert knowledge of Experion PKS
* Working Knowledge of MS Office
* Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and procedures
* Technical Functional Excellence, Effective Communicator, Self-Aware/Learner, Champions Change
* Results oriented, Manage Technical Scope, Communication skills, Drive use for Standard Builds

* Ability to effectively communicate in English is required.
