Warehouse & Logistics Specialist (Suez City)

You will be working as Logistics Specialist, and will be the part of Process
Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in, Suez, Egypt.
In this role you will be reporting to Procurement and Logistic Manager will be
responsible to oversee warehouse operations, managing a team of employees who
receive, handle, store and dispatch products, systems and services to
customers.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure various warehouse operations include packing and storage, replenishment, picking, loading and dispatching are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner and ensure maintenance of equipment and facility. Identify and recommend technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary, optimize warehouse capacity, inventory and floor utilization.
- Recommend measure to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance. Develop and maintain departmental work instructions for all tasks, code and prepare proper receipt/dispatch paperwork.
- Maintain complete and accurate data in the ERP system, check quality of incoming goods for storage, ensure daily contact with suppliers. Participate in regular inventory control process and maintain standard of health and safety, ensure quality environmental objectives are met, Plan warehouses and distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacity.
- Organize transportation activities, include storage of goods, manage information accrue from point of origin (Suez FZ) to delivery. Orchestrate transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary (Survey, handling and Discharge).
- Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways (inside Sues FZ), execute logistics plan to prepare all customs process (import and export declarations) and move products and packages to reach destinations as Free Zone regulations. Maintain quality throughout the logistic process.
Your background
- Bachelor 's degree in relevant field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management
- Experience with governmental entities
- Logistics experience is a must.
- Suez based candidates are preferable
- Fluency in both spoken and written English & Arabic language is a must.
