Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is looking for a Dispatch Coordinator - Suez.

The Dispatch Coordinator will ensure that all goods presented by the Warehouse
Department are delivered by the drivers at the correct address within the time
limits set, in appropriate condition and together with the correct documents
and appropriate cost.

This position will report to the Supply & Dispatch Manager - Egypt & Saudi
Arabia.
What you will work on:
* Update all ETA's through consistent monitoring with agents
* Schedule drivers deliveries
* Monitor the efficiency of the dispatch operations and driver utilization
* Ensure that transport is done in an efficient and cost effective way in line with demand
* Ensure compliance to all rules and regulations
* Responsible for correct document flow, reporting and tracking
* Report and take action to ensure professional and timely deliveries
* Keep delivery trucks maintained to appropriate standards, rules and regulations, including placard, certificates, etc
What you need to succeed in the role:

• Ability to communicate on all levels


• Ability to work in a team and on own initiatives


• Good command of written and spoken English


• Good knowledge of and experience within worldwide transportation methods and requirements


• Good knowledge of Dangerous Goods transportation regulations in all transport modes


• In depth familiarity and knowledge of transportation rules and regulations


• Ability to work outside normal business working hours
  Additional preferences


• Dangerous Good Certification


• Maritime experience


• Systematic, organized and accurate


• Good knowledge of products carried


• Valid Driving Certification
