Position Summary


*This Position is Contingent Upon Contract Award.***


MAG Aerospace is seeking a highly qualified Airport Rescue and Firefighting
Lead
to support a large scale Rotary Wing Aviation Program in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia (KSA).


This position provides aviation firefighting management and services to
minimize loss of life and property in the event of fire while providing
assistance and planning on Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF) operations and
mission planning.


**Essential Duties and Responsibilities



Duties include, but not limited to:**
* Overseas the functionality, service and operation of all pumps, foam generators, boom and ground sweeps nozzles and other similar equipment.
* Supervises the acquisition and usage of special protective gear in situations where poisonous gases, highly flammable combustible liquids, radioactive materials, and hazardous biological products are involved.
* Maintain accountability and responsibility of all individually assigned personal protective gear within IAW guidance and regulations.
* Conduct daily inspections of personal protective gear for serviceability and accountability.
* Conducts daily, monthly, and yearly inspections of airfield operations including quality control, safety inspections on aviation fuel and fuel farm, vehicle equipment, the proximity of gear, SCBA, and ARFF equipment
* Must be capable of preparing and conducting training for military personnel on ARFF management operations and equipment to include facility fire extinguishers and fire protection.
* Participates in training to maintain knowledge of the airport emergency plan
* Acts as a liaison for matters that involve Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting training
* Maintains proficiencies, licenses, and certifications in accordance with applicable regulations and Host Nation guidance, NFPA, and ARFF regulation.
* Shall manage inventories, before, during, and after operations of assigned materials and equipment. Anticipate and plan for shortfalls in materials, equipment, and ARFF capabilities.
* Plan for movement of materials, equipment, and personnel in support of mobile ARFF operations to various locations.
* Shall ensure all fire department members, including communications center personnel, meet training and certification requirements outlined in DOD ‎6055.06 -M.
* Ensure the total responding force can be able to respond to rescue or fire alarms/notifications within ‎3 minutes


Requirements


Minimum Requirements
Experience:
* At least ‎4 years of experience in firefighting total
* At least ‎2 years of experience in airfield firefighting
* At least ‎2 years of experience in airfield firefighting management or as a lead
Education:
* HS Diploma
Certification:
* EMS certification
* CPR certification
* National Incident Management Certification
Other Qualifications:
* Must meet required physical fitness and agility standards prior to employment and annually thereafter.
Clearance:
* Current / Active SECRET
Citizenship
* Full United States Citizen
