About the role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the technical
delivery of a number of high profile conferences, gala dinners and corporate
events across the Middle East. The role will be based in Riyadh, with
potential travel for events across various locations within the Middle East
(inc KSA, UAE and Qatar).
This role is on a contract basis working full time until the end of January
‎2023 (with a potential to extend).
Please be aware that experience as a Production Manager within corporate
events (such as conferences / gala dinners) is absolutely essential, and you
will not be shortlisted without this.
You will have responsibility for the following:
* Being responsible for all technical event production across a range of events
* Leading the production process from concept through to delivery
* Planning and organising production schedules
* Negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales
* Sourcing & negotiating of technical equipment in line with project requirements
* To coordinate the logistics and movement of technical equipment to event location, including shipping & handling
* Liaison with Project Director to deliver production aspects within the wider project scope
* Liaison with venue operations regarding in-house technical production elements, scheduling
* Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
* Site surveys to determine scope and needs for an event
* On site production oversight including load-in/strike of event
* Booking in and scheduling freelance crew
* Managing and selecting suppliers
* Stage manage as needed
* Manage additional event requirements, pre-event functions, meet and greets, post-event functions as needed
* Provides any specific production talent related event requirements
* Manage all aspects of virtual broadcast and execution including, creating overall format, ensuring seamless end-user experience, securing and prepping speakers, overseeing live-stream production, pre-show logistics, and post-show assessment
EXPERIENCE
* ‎5-‎8 years of operational event management
* Effective leader, motivator, and collaborator
* Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Keen on working in a fast-paced environment
* Arabic speaking (desirable)

LOCATION:
Riyadh based
Willing to travel worldwide as/ when required
We will not accept candidates who are not currently living in Riyadh or within
commuting distance.
