Linux Admin Support
Location : Riyadh (onsite)
Shift Timings : Rotational Shift; ready to work in 24x7 environments
GENERAL
* Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
* Responsible for resolving all technical incidents escalated by the L-‎1 team
* Production Support: handle inquiries and resolve issues
* Determine gaps in procedures/processes and come up with suggestions/recommendation for process improvement
* Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
* High interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral
* Basic level of Arabic communication skills
TECHNICAL SKILLS
The skills listed below are representative of the knowledge and skills
required.
* Hands-on experience installing and configuring a wide variety of servers, operating systems, Server Migrations, Security applications.
* Should be able to develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual intervention and save effort
* Should have knowledge on protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, NFS, SAMBA, NAS and SNMP
* Knowledge on Storage, Disk Management, Software RAID, Logical Volume Management (LVM) and logical partitioning
* Knowledge on Automation tools such as Ansible, Shell, Python etc.
* Knowledge with Zabbix or any other monitoring tools.
* Knowledge in OpenLDAP Active Directory.
* Manage Linux servers in cloud-hosting environments like Rackspace/AWS/Google/OpenStack
* Capacity and scaling management of high-traffic servers
* Design/Management of Openstack based private cloud and usage of it for faster delivery of service/solution to customers
* Plan and/or Manage (through provided team) Backup, Disaster Recovery and Highly Availability Solutions
* Manage Jenkins (CI), Git-Repositories and service delivery templates (vm/puppet)
* Exposure to following softwares are required Openstack, Ansible, Puppet, Icinga, Git, Jenkins, Bacula/Amanda and docker.
* Good work experience on Redhat Linux, Redhat cluster, satellite, patching
* ‎2 years of working experience in OVM, KVM, RHEV, docker container/ openshift
* Experience in deploying; maintaining and supporting Linux Server infrastructures and storage systems in an enterprise environment
* Hands on Experience in writing Linux Commands.Linux certifications will be considered as an added advantage.
* Should have knowledge on tools like Gitlab, Jenkins would be a plus.
