Arabic Content Reviewer (Gulf region)

About The Position
Job brief (Hourly Consultant position)
We are looking for an experienced Arabic Content Reviewer, situated in the
Gulf. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Marketing and
should be able to adapt our Marketing content for our Gulf audiences. The
candidate will also be responsible for reviewing written and video pieces in
Arabic, maintaining their original and accurate meaning, format, and tone.
The Arabic Content Reviewer's responsibilities include reading and thoroughly
understanding the context of given material, as well as proofreading, finished
pieces of work. To be successful in this role, you must have a keen eye for
detail and be fluent in English in addition to your native language - Arabic.
Ultimately, you will provide ready-to-use localized content that meets our
brands' needs and helps us reach a broader audience.
This role is remote and therefore flexible, for applicants from all the Middle
East and Gulf.

learning with over ‎120,000 graduates worldwide. Teaching various subjects such
as English, coding, ancient and modern languages (Biblical Hebrew, Greek, and
Aramaic), the company maintains ‎5 websites and operates ‎6 brands. Providing
courses in ‎9 languages requires high standards of translation and localization
which is why we are looking for a professional Gulf Arabic Content Reviewer
with knowledge of copywriting, and digital marketing to help us perfect our
messaging to various audiences across multiple channels.
Requirements

• BSc in Marketing, Translation, Linguistics, Journalism, or similar field


• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors


• Proven work experience as a Content reviewer, interpreter, or similar role


• Fluency in English in addition to your native language - Arabic


• Time-management skills


• Good copywriting skills


• Good knowledge of content editing tools

Responsibilities
* Review massive amounts of content efficiently and in a timely manner
* Review video materials in Arabic
* Research industry-specific terminology and marketing trends in the Gulf culture
* Present content ideas engaging to the Gulf audience
* Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure localization meets their needs
* Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)
* Network with field experts to stay current on new localization tools and practices
