Position Objectives:
The Senior Project Manager will act as the authorized representative between
the Consultant and the Client as well as towards the Vendors and Contractors
for all aspects of his responsibilities in the Project.
He will provide full support to the Program Head in delivering related
consultancy services and ensure high-quality deliverables. He will guide the
team and carry the responsibility for the task fulfillment and overall cross-
functional activities related to the Program and will be responsible to ensure
that all Program tasks are executed according to agreed plans and
specifications.

Job Description & Responsibilities:
Establish a comprehensive Projects Implementation Management function to
manage, monitor and follow-up all projects related to implementation
activities.
Provide robust and deliverable Projects Management Plan to the Implementation
team with clear monthly targets agreed with the client.
In cooperation with client management and other Projects Directors, establish
processes to ensure full end-to-end coordination between all involved
stakeholders from Planning through Design and implementation up to handover to
Operations of all projects as well as the other Business Units, Procurement,
Fixed Assets, Finance.
Set objectives and priorities for the execution of work in line with the
project scope and client's requirements.
Ensure appropriate KPls are established to measure the project performance.
Track network KPI’s and report to the Program Head, Director and key
stakeholders.
Highlight immediately any breach in KPI’s and provide remediation and recovery
plans
Ensure that clear and explicit work processes and procedures are established
and understood by all assigned parties, and set up systems and methodologies
to monitor the execution and performance of work.
Identify inefficient and costly practices and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and recommend improvements enhancing the project performance and
effectiveness.
Oversee preparation of regular and ad-hoc management project reports and
ensure these are complete and fully cover all key project issues, including
recommendations for improvements and changes, as necessary.
Assist the Program Head with disputed technical issues across all running
projects and provide appropriate advice for their resolution
Assist with processing of technical change orders through Scope Change
management procedures.
Represent project team in meetings with client, vendors and contractors as and
when requested
Ensure work results are compiled, documented and forwarded to the Client in
the required format, quantity and quality.
Ensure timely and correct management level presentations related to the
project's progress, status and risks.
Prepare alternative proposals for problem solutions and recommendations for
decisions
Inform the Client in time and comprehensively about required modifications,
deficiencies, new procedures within the scope of work.

Qualifications & Experience:
Preferably Masters, or Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering/
Telecommunication/ Science.

‎20+ years telecommunication experience with at least ‎7 years in a Senior-level
management position in large departments.
Must hold at least ‎3-‎4 years work experience with Telecom Operator in the
developed market i.e. USA/UK Western Europe.
Proven strong experience and skills in large mobile rollout projects of the
latest technologies (IoT, 5G, 4G).
Extensive knowledge and professional experience in program/projects management
and delivery.
Valid Certification in Project Management Techniques and methodologies (PMI,
PRINCE or similar) will be considered as an advantage.
Knowledge of relevant technical concepts and their practical implementation.

Essential skills/ abilities: Teamwork, knowledge transfer capability,
Cross-functional coordination skills and Team building.
Knowledge of the Arabic language would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English language.
