Position Objectives:
The Project Controller's role is to support the delivery team by regularly
tracking the progress of various initiatives and the performance of rollout
partners and escalating any discrepancies in Network Rollout.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
To process and control all project reports in accordance with agreed processes
and procedures.
Coordinate with all related departments and Contractors to ensure system data
integrity throughout the systems with the Project manager and the Project
Control Manager
To work very closely with Contractors to close all pending project gaps.
To identify and recommend systems, hardware and applications that may be
required from time to time for efficient running of the assigned activities.
To identify and escalate invoicing, reporting and documentation discrepancies
as early as possible to Project Manager
Participate in project meetings and ensure Minutes of Meetings are well
documented and distributed to all parties.
To best use currently established systems and databases for the preparation of
reports.
Ensure all work is included in the Project schedule.
90% of the work was completed as per the approved Project schedule.
Clearing Gaps in Financial Tracking System Database on time.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Min. 8 years experience while working in Telecom network rollout as a Project
Controller.
Must have expert-level experience in Excel (graphs, pivot tables, data
manipulation, formulas, Macros)
Must have experience in database applications and in SQL queries.
Must have hands-on experience in generating reports from MS Project
Must have hands-on experience in Power BI for data visualization, improving
dashboards using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), and Use Running totals,
functions, operators, and constants.
Essential skills: Teamwork, Excellent presentation, and communication
skills
Fluency in the Arabic language will be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English language.
