We are currently looking for a Consultant Cardiologist who will work for a
well-known hospital based in Kuwait.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Carry out tests such as echocardiograms and interpret test results to measure
how effectively the heart is working, which will help you to decide on the
best method of treatment.
Perform specialist procedures, such as cardiac catheterisation, to help
diagnose and guide treatment of a variety of heart conditions.
Prescribe medication to patients to help treat a range of cardiac illnesses.
Provide ongoing support and advice to patients under long-term care
The post holders will be involved in Cardiology out-patient clinics, in-
patient care of cardiac patients in the Coronary Care Unit.
The post holder will be participating in the various non-invasive and invasive
cardiac procedures of the team including coronary angiography, permanent
pacemaker implantation along with trans-oesophageal echocardiography.
Teach and provide educational support and training for junior staff
Practise governance and audits within your department
Complete administration, which can include anything from accurately recording
patient interventions and referrals to overseeing budgetary information
Carry out clinical research in your area of interest
Requirements**
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
Applicants should be completed Total 12 to 20+ years as a doctor (After
Bachelor 's Degree).
At least 8+ years' experience after a Master Degree.
PHD/Doctorate + UK/US Board; MRCP; FRCS; Fellowship
MBBS + Master Degree in Specialty or its equivalent from a recognized
University + DM/Fellowship
Languages Known: English, Good to Know (Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Turkish)
Have completed a speciality Certificate with 3+ years experience from:
* UK/Ireland (CCT/CSCST)
* America/Canada (ABMS/RCPSC/CFPC)
* Australia (FRACP)
* France (DES, DESC)
OR
* Certificate of Specialisation from Europe i.e. Spain, Germany, Italy, Sweden, with 5 years' experience post Specialization
