Job Description:
Parsons is now hiring a Facade Specialist with a desire to work on
creating innovative, practical solutions to various projects that enhance the
fabric of our community. In this role you will: manage all onsite activities
for a High-End project in accordance with the project schedule. This includes
monitoring and coordinating subcontractor activities in accordance with
project/client procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications. Serves
as the primary point of contact with the construction manager for all Façade
works for all site activities related to assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborates with Construction Project Management Unit to establish project schedule and monitors progress in meeting schedule and requirements.
* Monitors project documents, processes, and procedures required to support quality control and final project deliverables.
* Collaborates with Project Manager to determine number of hours required for successful completion of project tasks.
* Keeps Project Manager and Head of Project Management Unit informed of the day-to-day activities of the project.
* Maintains accurate documentation of job progress through daily logs and other reports
* Preparation and follow-up of the various project management meetings.
* Management of the planning and delivery of the Façade Installation operations.
* Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors in Civil Engineering or any related engineering discipline.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of project assistance / project management.
* Proficiency in MS Office software including Project for planning/scheduling.
* Rigor, autonomy, sense of organization and interpersonal skills
* Management of the traceability of the project requirements.
* Good communication skills.
