Plans,organizes and directs the overall administrative, technical and
operational activities of mega projects management program related to the
hospital - Jeddah Branch (JB) and ensures that associated strategic plans are
executed and completed as per predetermined schedules in order to achieve
targeted goals and objectives.
1. Directs and assumes overall responsibilities over activities and functions
of Mega Projects Management program at the Hospital - (JB).
2. Assists Assistant Chief Executive Officer in developing a comprehensive
plan to enhance the utilization of available resources in order to achieve
high level of efficiency and effectiveness related to Mega Projects
Management.
3. Ensures that Assistant Chief Executive Officer is most updated on the
progress of conducted projects under mega projects program as compared to the
targeted dates and, thus, provides progress reports and presentations on
regular basis, as agreed upon and requested.
4. Provides necessary direction and coordination to ensure the availability
of required services, which are required during the project's life cycle such
as safety, security, maintenance and other services available within the
Hospital - (JB).
5. Supervises and facilitates the smooth collaboration of various
organizational entities and services supporting mega projects program.
6. Monitors and inspects program facilities to ensure the optimum, efficient
and appropriate utilization of available resources assigned to mega projects
management program.
7. Establishes matrix reporting mechanism with the key leadership staff of
respective organizational entities within the Hospital to regulate the
services of staff assigned to Mega Projects Management program to ensure
stable workflow.
8. Monitors the preventive maintenance and landscaping schedules in
coordination with the concerned technical department.
9. Monitors all the warranties regarding the building and furniture, and
coordinates the repair or replacement of furniture.
10. Approves all the gate pass in coordination with Safety & Security - JB.
11. Assists in the facilitation and coordination of services provided to the
Mega Projects Management assigned staff when necessary, including safe and
efficient transportation through the mega projects program.
12. Directs and supervises the procurement,storage, inventory, delivery,
and/or disposal of all Mega Projects Management program material and equipment
in accordance with the Hospital's established policies and procedures.
13. Assumes the role of Program Director in supervising, controlling,
executing, and providing feedback and corrective actions related to mega
projects program.
14. Evaluates projects under the Mega Projects Management program and
prepares a Risk Management Plan for each.
15. Follows all established Hospital policies& procedures.
16. Participates in self and others' education,training and development, as
applicable.
17. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction
Engineering, Projects Management or any other related discipline is required.
Eleven(11) years with Master or thirteen (13) years with Bachelor Degree of a
progressive and senior professional related experience in a large hospital,
healthcare institution, government institution, business corporation or
related organization is required including five (5) years in a managerial
capacity.
