The Job Opportunity
As the Sustainability Director, the key purpose of this role is to work
closely with the Global Leads to further develop and cohere a strong ESG
practice, leading with client delivery in the climate and sustainability
space. You will be responsible for leading on Energy, Engineering, Climate and
Sustainability; a builder and collaborator with a deep commitment to urgent
action on energy, climate change, driving towards Net Zero by ‎2050 or sooner.

Key accountabilities Business development: Lead and support on new
business outreach that includes research, pipeline management, proposal and
pitch writing, budgeting and planning
Project leadership: Lead and manage client projects throughout their
entire cycle, providing guidance on climate strategies across a range of
projects and topics
Content leadership: Have a strong grasp on climate and sustainability
content
Technical leadership: Development of proposals for the corporate sector on
climate strategies, climate change migration solutions and implementation of
advisory projects
Diversity and inclusion: commit to equity, diversity and inclusion, and
integrate and prioritise these in project work, research, strategy
recommendations and client/ partner conversations

remit and takes responsibility for finding solutions Ability to identify
innovative ideas and solutions for everyday work problems that contribute to
on-going continuous improvement and add value to the customer Solid
communicator who clearly and concisely conveys information and ideas that
engage others

Specific requirements Demonstrated track record and commitment to climate
change and client facing experience in this field
Extensive experience with policy planning and sustainable design in high-
profile profile/ construction projects
Strong strategy background, ideally from consultancy, with a focus on climate
change or sustainability issues
Ideally, degree holder engineering or related discipline and certified LEED
AP, Estidama, PQP, and BREEAM AP
Knowledge of nature-based solutions, ESG metrics and reporting, policy,
renewables, construction and operation of assets
Experience with SBTi, CA100+ Net Zero Company benchmark, ISSB/TCFD, scenario
development
