The opportunity
Project: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in
Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development
including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated
infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre
and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase
of the project.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the project manager and/or project director on a daily basis.
* Providing support in the development of the project management strategy and delivery.
* Assisting and participating in the procurement of sub-consultants and contractors required for all of the construction packages.
* Administering tender review, recommendation and eventual award of these packages.
* Being involved in the design management, delivery, quality, time, cost and handover of these key packages.
* Supervising the sub-consultants and driving the nominated contractors/sub-contractors.
* Overseeing and executing the tasks associated with the management of projects.
* Contributing to the project execution plan.
* Preparing project status reports for clients, management and team members.
* Tracking project progress (goals, schedule and budget) and generating status reports.
* Promoting and coordinating project risk reviews.
* Identifying potential cost savings.
* Coordinating the project communication plan.
* Meeting with clients, representatives and suppliers regarding project execution.
About you
You have a relevant degree qualification, master's preferred. You will take
personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of
professional qualification.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead
strong, motivated teams. You must have experience in programme or project
management equating quality and value with the individual client and be hungry
