Senior Data Analyst (on-site)

What We Need

Oivan is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to help organise data related
sales, project and backend numbers, market research, real estate and energy
industry data and other behavioural analytics networking in the Middle East

expertise in automation, pipelines, continuous integration and deployment.
This role includes the maintenance of data quality and validity via company
internal systems and all data sources.

What You'll Do**
We offer you the unique opportunity to work and improve your skills with a
diverse and geographically distributed team of technology and business experts
around the world. You will provide required data analytics expertise for our
team and our clients. You will also be responsible for the following:

Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources,
these include company internal systems that we have developed for customer
needs on mainly real estate industry
* Removing corrupted data and fixing some logical errors and related problems for data quality and representativeness
* Developing and maintaining data models, data systems - reorganising data in a readable format
* Performing data analysis to assess the quality and meaning
* Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems
* Using statistical and scientific tools to identify, analyse and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and predictive analysis
* Assigning numerical value to essential business functions (sales, account management, engineering and project management office) so that our business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time
* Analyzing local, national and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry
* Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns and predictions using relevant data
* Working with engineering, key account management, sales, project managers and operative personnel (Operations, DevOps) to identify process improvement opportunities and propose system (or process) modifications and best practices
* Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various, facts and trends

What You've Got

For this role, you are going to be working with our client within a cross-
functional team. As a data analyst, we prefer that you have the following:

Technical university education preferred with experience working with complex
sets of data. Relevant industry experience using statistical methods and a
strong foundation of mathematical skills are important.
* Ability to work together with other people in your team.
* You have the ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
* You are communicative with the ability to both see the big picture and understand details and be able to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
* You have skills and experience in some of the following areas: Data visualization (Tableau, Qlik), Databases (SQL, MongoDB), data modelling (MATLAB) and Python
* Aspiration and ability to solve high-level data problems with a high degree of accuracy and attention-to-detail. Data needs to be analyzed, processed, sorted and presented (visualized) in a way that assists individuals, businesses and organizations make better decisions
* Excellent communication skills in English - Arabic is a great asset
For this role, we expect you to based in Riyadh, or be able and willing to
relocate.
