HEAD, HOSPITAL AND RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE

Directs the maintenance activities of all medical care and residential
maintenance.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

‎1.Manage and maintain functional and administrative supervision over the
department's day to day activities. Perform the following tasks relative
thereto:
a. Provide recommendation in the selection and recruitment of staff
b. Review and appraise performance of supervisors and staff
c. Prepare/recommend and monitors departmental budget
d. Approve work assignments, leave schedules, supplies requisitions
e. Provide assistance in the orientation and skills upgrading of staff
‎2. Establish procedures for departmental tests, checks, inspections, safety
procedures and general operations.
‎3. Evaluate equipment. Make recommendations for purchase of equipment.
‎4. Provide operating instructions, check lists, schematics, flow diagrams,
and test resuHs for personnel.
‎5. Coordinate with tie-ins or modifications to existing systems by Hospital
personnel and outside contractors to ensure minimal disruption of operations.
‎6. Prepare and maintain departmental budget. Prepare plans, cost estimates,
and work schedules for maintenance projects.
‎7. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.
‎8. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
‎9. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as
applicable.

Education**
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.

Experience Required

Ten (‎10) years of experience in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering field
including four (‎4)years in supervisory capacity required. Direct experience in
maintenance in a Hospital set-up desirable.

Saudi Driver's License.
