What this job involves
Job Summary/Goals:
In Digital Delivery Team we are using advance Laser/Lidar scans to capture
existing site conditions and Assets from both operative and non-operative
buildings. Based on outputs, our clients do monitor, verify, contract
management, cost management, re-design, and operation management.
We use advance preconstruction and VDC solutions through BIM workflows.
An intern in this department would assist in all the above.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Digital Delivery team on client assignments, key tasks include
Asset modeling, managing vendors, report writing, presentation, and
participation in internal and external meetings.
Contribute to the successful execution of projects and Project management
initiatives as needed.
Report to the Line Manager as well as to the respective assignment leads on an
ongoing basis.
Skills and Competencies:
General Competencies:
Strong analytical background with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks
Ability to coordinate tasks in accordance with priorities
Show proof of rigor and autonomy when working
Ability to work to meet deadlines, even when timeframes are demanding
Professional Competencies:
Conducting product and Market research in Contech and Proptech.
The ability to work in a variety of construction environments including
commercial, educational, industrial, and health care- related projects.
Model on and use BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
Strive to continuously develop your skills in our core applications
A passion for project delivery, people, customer service and your work
Ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations
Understanding of MS Excel and Dashboards.
Corporate email communication
Demonstrates good organizational, and communication skills.
Other Competencies:
Willingness to take on new challenges
Efficiently use words to communicate complex ideas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, preferably also
in Arabic (selection criteria will first and foremost depend on caliber and
profile rather than language skills)
Be capable of managing stress & accepting constructive feedback
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s / Master’s in civil engineering, Construction Management,
Architecture, or equivalent
Basic knowledge and understanding of BIM and Digital Asset Delivery.
