‎2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

Provide advanced analyses, insights and guidance (by leveraging data, systems
and tools available in the market ) to help Affiliate/BU/Ma'aden to make
informed tactical and strategic decisions in order to reinforce its place in
the relevant market and realise its business objectives
‎3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Qualification:
B Degree (Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or equivalent)


Experience:

‎6 Years experience (‎3 years in relevant industry)

  • Benchmark competition and analyses market trends (supply, demand, pricing, regulation, etc.) providing accurate, timely and actionable inputs




  • Collect, consolidate and synthesize knowledge for the Affiliate/SBU and build/ update dedicated tools to monitor competitive environment, product trends, demand, supply, pricing, regulatory evolutions, risks, etc




  • Support all strategic initiatives, which include designing and developing new products, strategic alliances, JVs, and/or downstream investments




  • Collaborate with Commercial & Marketing teams to identify new opportunities and participate with pre-due diligence and due diligence exercise, and in executing post-merger/acquisition integration




  • Participate in interactions with internal or external stakeholders about any market related information




  • Oversee, analyse and profile competitors and competitive products and provide accurate and timely information to relevant stakeholders




  • Conduct market research for market dynamics and insights




  • Analyse product and market opportunities through comprehensive segmentation analysis that identify new product outlets, prioritize existing segments with objective to balance market share and profitability




  • Manage Ma'aden global prices Index and ensure right reflection for Ma'aden sales




  • Perform macroeconomics/ country analysis and studies political and financial situation in all the regions of potential interest (‎5-‎6 regions) and advises management




  • Monitor regional regulations and economics that influence the business decision and Ma'aden competitiveness




  • Support any strategic alliances related decisions (Customer alliances, JVs, downstream investments, etc)




  • Update of models to forecast supply, demand, prices and competitors cash cost histogram that influence key strategic decisions




  • Analyse the supply/demand gap that enable Ma'aden to capture opportunities and maximize the market return




  • Map, identify and communicate potential risks related to area of responsibility (e.g. competition, supply/demand, country risk, etc.) and recommend mitigation actions




  • Assist to evaluate and monitor product pricing, analysing refining margins in the main markets, correlating to aw materials requirements, product balances and development outlooks




  • Prepare price projections for forward-looking revenue/ income estimates for Marketing plan and budgeting purposes




  • Provide inputs to analyse the cash cost for all relevant product producers




  • Actively contribute and support Marketing & Sales plans




  • Prepare the (daily/ weekly/ monthly/ quarterly/ yearly) marketing reports for senior management (collection, assimilation and review of information on current developments in the international product market, identify likely trends and formulate outlooks with specific emphasis upon Ma'aden marketing activities)




  • Participate to all market and business analysis required for public sharing (events, annual reports, conferences, management ad-hoc reports, etc.)
