Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented MEP Infrastructure Director
to join our team! In this role you will get to leading all field
Infrastructure / Technical activities of major projects involving multiple
units
What You'll Be Doing:
* Establishes assignments and directs the activities of Engineering Managers for various units and/or work areas of Engineering operations.
* Ensures that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project.
* Makes recommendations to upper management as appropriate, for the resolution of major problems.
* Ensures the use of sound Engineering practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost.
* Prepares periodic reports summarizing progress of Engineering activities for higher level management and clients, including formal presentations.
* Assigns manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budget goals.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* Establishes policies and procedures tailored to the assigned projects and ensures conformance.
* Ensures effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations policies.
* Maintains strong client and community relations, including making presentations to local civic organizations.
* Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering related field (or equivalent Engineering related work experience)
* 20+ years of widely diversified experience (including successful management experience) in the Engineering of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is required
* Requires widely diversified knowledge of Engineering related processes and industry practices
* Demonstrated effective managerial capability on Engineering projects of comparable scope and complexity is also required, as well as excellent written and oral communications skills (particularly in formal presentations to clients and upper management).
