Hygiene Supervisor
Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre is looking for Saudi
Nationals.
The Hygiene Supervisor will be responsible to verify that operations are
incompliance with hygiene including Covid-‎19 precautions and food safety
corporate & local standards by the support of Hygiene Assistant Manager.
She/he be part of internal audits relating to Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
in all areas during the daily, weekly & monthly operation. She/he works with
Hygiene Assistant Manager and Director of Facilities and Operational Safety to
lead the property during the external local &corporate audits. She/ he
involves to identifying process of the key areas of risk in various
departments and recommending pre-emptive remedial action and brings forward
any opportunities for the related departments, to enhance the standards by
following on the proper practices regarding Food Safety & Hygiene field with
Ass. Hygiene Manager. She/he be part of organizing/ conducting regular
internal/ external trainings related to Food Safety & Hygiene field on proper
basis for the concerned departments according to her/his task allocation.
Responsibility:
* Be part of verifying compliance with Food Safety, Hygiene & LWC Corporate Standards requirements of Four Seasons as well as the KSA local protocols/ legislations throughout the operations.
* Be part of developing and building up the internal documentation P&Ps, SOPs and checklist built up regarding Food Safety, Hygiene & LWC corporate and local standards with the guidance of Director of Facilities and Operational Safety.
* Be part of maintaining regularly reviews the local protocol/ legislation and corporate standards and where required raises the changes to Director of Facilities and Operational Safety for necessary revision on the Collective Summary and reports to Director of Facilities and Operational Safety
* Monitors & supervises the implementation on daily and weekly basis with using the verification tools (i.e., ATP machine, test strips etc.), and advises/leads to all related departments on hygiene and food safety good practices and reports the findings of regular internal inspections via providing the corrective action plan as necessary, follows & ensures that the required actions are taken by responsible team members for their respective areas.
* Follows up and be accountable for all due diligence documents with all related department heads and guide them on when and how to fill the due diligence records.
* Be part of identifying the key areas of Food Safety & Hygiene risks in all concerned departments/divisions by the support of Hygiene Assis. Manager, where required takes on pre-emptive remedial action and reports to Director of Facilities and Operational Safety for any required further action.
* Be part of any corporate and local authorities internal/external audits, and their preparation.
* Be part of organizing Food Safety& Hygiene internal & external trainings for all concerned colleagues on proper basis with Hygiene Assis. Manager. Also provide the Food Safety and Hygiene P&Ps and SOPs OJT for the specific departments where required.
* Being part of supplier audits and documentation process according to local & corporate standards with Ass. Hygiene Manager, F&B, Kitchen and Purchasing Departments.
* Lead the monthly laboratory food, water & ice sampling, weekly laboratory swabbing and being part of reviewing the results and where required report to all concerned departments for further corrective actions once confirmed by Assis. Hygiene Manager and Director of Facilities and Operational Safety.
* Monitoring pest control performance and issues during the internal walk tours, reporting the issues to all concerned departments.
* Ensures the local & corporate standards are achieved in terms of waste management by the responsible team members
* Provide knowledge on cleaning methods and chemicals liaising with ‎3 rd party partners where required
* Being part of handling the guest complaints in regard to AFBI with Hygiene Assis. Manager and Director of F&B and Director of Facilities
* Oversee and present the repetitive issues and action required points during regular HACCP & LWC meetings on monthly basis with H&S Committee
Technical Competencies:
* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Food Science or Food Technology
* Minimum ‎2 years' experience in a luxury property as Hygiene Supervisor
* Fluency of English language
* ISO ‎22000 or HACCP Internal Auditor, Food Safety & HACCP level ‎3 certified or equivalent is preferred.
* Standard MS Office tools knowledge is a must
