Job Description:
Assistant Project Manager - Logistics (Saudi National)
Responsibilities
* Performs logistics assignments involving the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all aspects of logistics management.
* Supervises the logistics operation and maintenance works
* Monitors and coordinates all contractors' activities for assigned areas.
* Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of the public, employees, and users of the areas.
* Ensures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standards.
* Establishes and maintains liaison with all related entities.
* Provides resolution for logistics challenges, issues, and constraints and coordinates application of solutions.
* Monitors material movements and deliveries.
* Interfaces with the client, stakeholders, contractors, subcontractors, and project management team,
* Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction-related field or equivalent construction-related work experience
* Minimum 05 years of experience in field construction and logistics is required
* Requires knowledge of logistics, engineering, and construction-related processes.
* Requires knowledge of logistics and construction traffic-related processes
* Requires excellent written and oral communication skills
* Familiarity with CAD and PowerPoint
