Job Description Summary

As an Early Career Trainee - Field Services Engineer you will be responsible
for resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance
activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to
maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. This includes all
types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance
facilities and field services engineering. Accountable for the quality of own
work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work
instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations
framework. There is generally a step-by-step sequence of standard operational
tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Fixed-Term Contract: ‎12 Months
Hybrid set-up as you will be working in the Field
Target Start Date: November ‎2022
Location: Riyadh SA

Responsibilities

• You will be on site life extensions, repairing and inspecting any related service activities for installed fleets and supervise construction and commissioning of new and existing equipment. Perform at customer site. Includes onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, generator diagnostics. Able to make Engineering decisions.


• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.


• Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.


• Resolve issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.


• Collaborate with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor 's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or any Engineering related


• With basic experience in the Services and Field Services


• Strong analytical and quantitative skills


• Experience on statistical and/or data management tools


• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment


• Ability to work independently with minimum direction


• Excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills


• Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills


• Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills


• Analytical, problem solving & root-cause analysis skill
