Balich Wonder Studio is looking for a Senior Cast Coordinator for the Opening
Ceremony of Saudi Games ‎2022.


The ideal candidate has a proven experience of ‎3-‎5 years in Cast and
Volunteers management into large scale productions.


The availability period requested is from October 8th to October 31st.


First preference will be given to candidates already based in KSA.

Broad Responsibilities



  • To supervise and run the recruitment process and the management of all the Local Cast for the Opening Ceremony of the Saudi Games ‎2022

  • To execute all duties pertaining to the position of Senior Cast Coordinator for Ceremonies.


General Tasks



  • Work collaboratively within the Casting team, and support all departments to deliver each Ceremony.

  • Ensure cast management and recruitment meet all local and cultural requirements at all times.

  • Take initiative, multitask and work undirected across the spectrum of cast management responsibilities.

  • Attend and contribute to meetings as required.

  • Produce Ceremonies paperwork and documentation as required.

  • Other duties may be assigned as required.


Role Specific Tasks



  • Work in close collaboration with the Creative team to deliver their goals at each rehearsal.

  • Liaise and work in close collaboration with all Ceremonies departments and ensure the continuous flow of information between the Casting team and all Ceremonies departments

  • Execute general cast management duties as required by the Head of Casting on a day to day basis.

  • To assist the Head of Cast and the casting team in the set up and running of auditions and casting of the Local cast for the ceremony.

  • To manage specific cast segments to ensure that cast are kept informed and attend all scheduled rehearsals.

  • To manage cast information on the database and to ensure all details captured to ensure all legal, accreditation, medical and other information is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Assist in the general running of the administration of the department

  • To brief and coordinate Cast Coordinators in all the duties regarding the correspondence, the management and the communication with the Local Cast for the ceremony


Requirements


Skills



  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Necessity to function under pressure in a calm and reasoned fashion.

  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office Word, Excel and Power Point and Database packages.

  • Flexibility and ability to deal with constant change to schedules and work plans.

  • The attitudes and temperament of a team player essential.

  • Good knowledge English is required. Arabic is desirable but not mandatory.

  • May be asked to work in exacting conditions eg, outdoors, wet weather, extreme heat, extreme cold, and for long periods at a time.

  • Must have flexibility with working hours to facilitate any unavoidable changes to the rehearsal and performance schedule.

  • Must be available to spend long hours on the phone and on emails.


Experience



  • The candidate should prove experience in the field of show/movie/event production

  • The candidate should prove experience in team leading and management of people

  • Previous experience in mass cast management

  • Previous experience in volunteers' management
