Business Unit - Pharmaceuticals

pharmaceutical technical centres and more than ‎250 sales and marketing experts

Your Opportunity
Working with a leading Chemical Distribution Company in the Middle East. The
role will be based in Saudi Arabia and would require scheduling and conducting
technical meetings at customers R&D, manufacturing sites to promote and
support the use of principals' products and concepts. The Technical Manager
will also be responsible within the agreed expenses budget. You will be
reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager Pharma Middle East of IMCD
Middle East.
Your Role
To be a self-starter with a track record that demonstrates high levels of
motivation, entrepreneurial ability, and initiative to achieve corporate
goals. Initiate and follow up on new projects to enrich the business unit
opportunities and projects pipeline. The role requires in depth ability to
understand and solve customer's regulatory affairs needs and issues in close
cooperation with BG Pharma colleagues. An experienced individual will be
accountable for developing, maintaining, and expanding the technical services
operational systems, processes, and policies in support of IMCD.
Responsibilities
* Understand customer core formulations and guide development and troubleshooting strategies.
* Frequent visits to customers ' research, development, and manufacturing sites to promote and support the use of principals' products & concepts, and project discovery.
* Arrange technical services activities and events
* Support customer on RA and coordinating with RA team in the Department.
* Oversee efforts in working with infrastructure support organizations
* Utilizing Salesforce (SDFC) for reporting and supporting customers' needs
* Must have a valid driving License
* Good people skill and networking ability
Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharma, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Proficient in English, Arabic is a plus
