Position: Director of out side catering operations (Full time #530314)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Able to utilize yield management techniques in profitably negotiating Outside Catering projects to enhance the hotel's financial performance
* Making Decisions and Solving Problems - Analysing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
* Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
* Assist the Director of Commercial Strategy in developing realistic action plans and reports monthly on the progress of these actions.
* Assist the Director of Commercial Strategy in development of customer sales programs, packages, etc
* Negotiates with guests and Event management companies potential Outside Catering opportunities and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
* Creates and maintains relationships with Clients - Reach out to clients to help and manage the business process, set and meet client expectations and deliver according to the budget.
* Assisting in product development ensuring that the appropriate standards are always maintained and a first-class service is delivered to the guests.
* Plans and executes sales calls independently.
* Develops and maintains relationships with key clients to produce additional business.
* Solicits new accounts, manages current accounts, and follow up lost and historical business.
* Develops Account development plan to fully penetrate his TOP accounts ensuring all revenue streams for both hotels are covered.
* Identifies areas of concern from his account base and acts on them immediately, to ensure a WIN-WIN situation for both the customer and the hotels.
* Follows up systematically and persistently any leads, with the objective to secure business to MORYD.
* Accurately forecasts individual booking revenues and cancellations.
* Assist in developing and implementing C&B plans. Will also participate in the annual budgeting and planning process.
Requirements:
+7 years experience in 5 starts hotel in Catering & Events.
