You will lead the group function for Fraud Risk building a centre of
excellence for all operational risk issues across the group, working closely
with the country risk managers, risk team and head of risk to define the
policies, processes and procedures for the group.
As a Tapster You Will:
* Contribute to the development and implementation of Fraud Risk processes, tools, policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Framework Program.
* Support the establishment of fraud risk tolerance guidelines ensuring the risk of exposure of the organisation is within these guidelines.
* Manage the Fraud Risk Assessment (FRA) program across all entities within the group
* Develop predictive risk models using advanced supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
* Support building of Analytics based rules, Models to detect Fraud, including ongoing optimization
* Determine the best practices for business activities to control risks associated with existing and emerging fraud risks.
* Track fraud losses versus plan and review of individual countries / portfolios.
* Manage and provide an oversite on fraud risk management using data extraction, data analytics and management reporting.
* Identify potential fraud scenarios and evaluate the occurrence and process put in place to mitigate the fraud risk.
* Collaborate with the client's operational risk management team to comprehend, develop and perform key risk indicators reporting.
* Additional responsibilities as designated by the manager
What You Bring to the Party:
* Minimum of 12 years of experience in Fraud Risk with either Issuer, Acquirer or Merchants.
* Must have executed a successful fraud reduction strategy in the payment fraud area.
* Hands-on experience of working in the fraud management environment in the previous role and detailed understanding of the fraud environment (Application fraud in Digital environment, Account takeover fraud, Cybersecurity, Bot attacks etc.).
* Exposure to Authorization processing, Authentication, Risk controls, Policies, Risk infrastructure, Rule management etc. will be preferred.
* Experience in cards/payments, retail banking, or retail merchant industries is important.
* Knowledge of predictive risk models using machine learning techniques.
* Knowledge of back-end systems supporting payment transactions, servicing products and operational procedures.
* Solid understanding of fraud risks, and risk management processes
* Prior Fraud or Operational Risk experience conducting risk & control assessment
* Proven operational experience across the domain of Risk Management & Fraud
* Detailed oriented, is expected to ensure highest level of quality in reports & data analysis
* Clear understanding of phishing, malware, active content, social engineering, mule networks, fraud patterns detection, fraud workflow tools, etc.
