The Role / Opportunity
The Project Engineer – Civil (Food Services) will be responsible to provide
special civil engineering skills and services to the Projects, by ensuring the
design and implementation of civil works within projects meet the Almarai
specifications for Civil Engineering and good manufacturing practice. It
includes but not limited to designing new civil infrastructures to meet plant
expansions and modification requirements. Also, evaluating contractor’s
proposal to ensure economical and technical compliance.
This role requires mobility as projects are spread in different locations in
Saudi Arabia.
C andidates must have the following to be shortlisted:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
‎10 years’ experience in civil projects, design, and maintenance related work
in a managerial capacity. Experience in process plant automation is a plus.
Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint
Ability to communicate in English (written & spoken)
Having Saudi driving license preferred
Competencies:
Planning skills
Technical knowledge to design applications.
Possess the required problem-solving skills at site
Ability to coordinate with internal branches for decision making on technical
issues.
Ability to negotiate with suppliers and contractors to obtain the best mix in
terms of cost and quality to Almarai
