Job Overview
Leverages creativity and machine learning expertise to help identify areas to
apply advanced analytics in different parts of the organization. Involved in
defining the scope of data science products and the internal analytics
roadmap. Develops clear, concise communication strategies for explaining
relevant machine learning and data science concepts to business stakeholders.
Essential Functions
* Working with a diverse global team of data scientists and software developers using modern data science languages and tools, you will
* Build prototypes and production quality software components that drive business value.
* Leverage deep expertise in machine learning to devise and implement suitable methodologies.
* Demonstrate commitment to strong engineering by writing high-quality code and participating in the peer review process.
* Accountable for all aspects of work, from data analysis and research, to KPI definition, testing and deployment.
* Participate in the development of the state of the art methods by attending conferences and publishing papers.
* Serve as a mentor and guide junior team members involved in advanced analytics activities and tasks.
Qualifications
* Data science preferably with training on Artificial Intelligence concepts
* Strong theoretical and hands-on experience with statistics and machine learning related techniques, tools, and methods
* Ability to wrangle data at scale using tools such as Hive and Spark
* The ability to read, understand, and explain to others, scientific papers on state-of-the-art machine learning and computer science, as well as the ability to prototype, evaluate and improve the ideas described
* Experience productionizing and maintaining ML-based automated solutions.
* Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
* Fluent in English
* Familiar with client-server architecture and microservice architecture
* Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices
* Healthcare domain experience
