Specific Responsibilities
Partner with MKT Director, MKT and Design team to ensure styling reflects the
brand, creative direction and sales goals of the e-commerce site
Be an expert on current fashion trends in the industry (global and local) and
translate them for the brand's product styling
Manage the flow of product through the studio by maintaining order with the
varying levels of merchandise, product categories, seasonal deliveries, and
models
On set naming product on as per SKU
Pre-style each collection, shoot and prepare style-out for
distribution/approval from Marketing director.
Keep abreast of trends as they relate to fashion and on-line shopping
Responsible for stock reception and coordination with suppliers.
Ensure all necessary products are in-studio prior to photoshoot and prioritize
high priorities and re-shoots
Pull and organize samples, plus style clothing and accessories for various
photo shoots (on-figure and still life/table top)
Prepares models to be photo-ready by ensuring all items are steamed, neatly
worn, and fit appropriately.
Work with photographer and MKT on-set to ensure product is styled properly
according to brand guidelines
Participate in the routing of images for retouching comments
Responsible for interpreting the merchant and marketing vision, assuring the
highest quality product images are photographed for e-commerce. Collaborates
with these teams to make sure site image is represented appropriately and is
in sync with seasonal campaign and storytelling.
Participate in design, merchandising and retail/marketing meetings to
learn/translate seasonal product focuses and protect integrity of each brand
Work on additional projects as needed
Skills and Requirements
Minimum 3 years professional experience
Previous fashion and tabletop styling experience a must
Courses in design or visual merchandising preferred, and experience with
e-commerce sites a plus
Ability to understand and balance creative & brand aesthetic with business
needs
Great creative eye with attention to detail
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite programs
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
English skills is a must.
Knowledge of GCC and Arabic world and culture is welcome.
