Job Summary:
Our client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director who
should have at least 15-20 years of experience in the delivery of mega
construction and delivery programs specifically within Theme Parks or
Entertainment related works for a 3 year program to deliver a world class
Theme Park in Riyadh, KSA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely delivery of projects.
* Must have dealt with IP's and overseen ride installation.
* Must come from a construction background, leading site-based construction activities on major Theme Park projects.
* Previous experience with contractors would be ideal.
* Must have worked in Europe or North America previously.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in the Middle East region.
* Manage project risks and identify and mitigate potential issues that may impact project delivery.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients & stakeholders
* Oversee the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and contract documents.
* Manage the project team and provide mentorship to junior team members.
* Continuously improve processes and procedures to optimise efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering
* At least 15-20 years of experience in project delivery
* Experience in a global consulting or contracting company
* Completed a Theme Park project + having worked in Europe or North America
* Familiarity with local regulations and standards in the Middle East region.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure
