Monitor and report the progress of projects in term of time, cost, quality, and Safety. Prepare a Matarat Projects standard, and specifications and guidelines for construction works as per the best international practices and monitor its application by the Supervision consultants or other related parties.
Coordinate with PMO's department to prepare and implement process and procedures related to construction works.
Auditing and monitoring for the construction projects versus the required process, and procedures
Develop Project Construction guidelines, process, and procedures to be used on projects that form part of the rolling 5-year development program.
Monitor the compliance of PMC and Construction contractors versus the guidance's, procedures, and process.
Prepare Projects standard construction lifecycle process to help standardize the delivery of projects including, Health and Safety, Quality Management and Project Control process and procedures.
Support client with the oversight of projects within the rolling 5-year development plan, identifying risks, opportunities and recommending cost saving strategies and improvement of project delivery timelines.
Identifying standard construction materials, pricing, and consolidating procurement for the various projects to benefit from economies of scale.
Prepare and issue regular progress reports for all projects in the rolling 5-year development program to ensure that Project Management and client resources are focused on high-priority or critical projects as needed.
Maintain regular communication with and act as the central clearing house for project and construction managers within the rolling 5-year development program and ensuring adequate support and resources from within client are being provided, and that risks or issues are escalated through the appropriate channels for resolution.
Profile**
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university
Preferably years 20+ in large-scale airport projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Record of implementing continuous improvement on site and supporting capacity building / talent development in a construction environment
