About this opportunity
We are looking for IREG Engineer who will maintain and operate the Roaming.

What you will do
Roaming Engineer:
* Roaming technical Service deployment & Establishment Function
* Roaming Operation & Maintenance Function
* Feature Roaming Function (Tests before roll-out for New stc roaming services)
* Roaming Protocol Function - Protocols and policy functions in all VLRs/HLR-FE/HSS/IN/MME/SGW/PGW/ISTPs/ DEA/IMS and IPX.
* Roaming Quality Function - Data Audit in all relevant nodes
* Roaming Service Support Function
* Roaming SMS Troubleshooting and investigation function.
* Projects - New Roaming Feature Testing (e.g MOI Roaming support, etc.)
* Frauds Control - Abnormal Roaming services usage and obnoxious roaming activities investigation.
* Maintain Roaming Documentation & Procedures

Roaming Integration :
* Establishment of Roaming services with new roaming partners.
* Verify all 2G/3G/4G/5G and IMS (VoLTE Roaming) tests in accordance with std. documents (IR24, IR32, IR35, IR38, IR50, IR60, etc).
* Maintain and update, the Commercial Agreement Records.
* Coordinate all related STC departments (TAWASOL, IT, VAS, MTAC, Design and Marketing and external bodies (RP, GRX/IPX, Ameex) for smooth IREG integration for Roaming service.
* Adequate knowledge of SMS Firewall and it filtering techniques.
* Fulfillment of Roamware features and methodology.
* Co-ordination and Track-up All MGT and NDC data in all Int'l GW's. (RIN1/JIN2/JIN3/DIN1/SIR/SIJ)
* Updation of All new "IP" ranges to ESDP & IN.
* Follow-up IMSI & MGT translation routing data to MMSC team for MMS
* Track-up with GPRS and DSR Teams for packet data definition

Roaming Quality Assurance:
* Maintain Seamless Roaming services, with functional tests of all Services (Postpaid, Prepaid, SMS, MMS, GPRS, 3G, 4G, 5G and VoLTE) with all commercial Operators.
* Periodic Routine data Audit in whole GSM NW to ensure all network elements (HLR-FE/HSS / VLR / SMSC / IP-STP/ FNR / MMSC / GRX /IPX/ SGSN / GGSN/PGW/SGW and DEA) data have been implemented in accordance with updated changes received from RP 's in technical documents IR-‎21 & IR-‎85.
* Analyze and resolve Roaming services failures.
* Detect, Analyze and escalate any Anti-Steering mechanism used by RP's against stc.
* Analyze daily UPM and TP Reports, Trends summery reports and analyze any abnormalities for sudden drop/increase in Roamers or any failure of Roaming service.

Roaming Support Troubleshooting
* Provide Tier-I level support for all Roaming issues escalated through RP 's Email, WS dept, RTTS, SEC/SOC/UPM feed/ CEM Alert Tickets for all technologies.
* Troubleshooting, Fault Analysis, network clustering and Rectification of roaming services failure/outage / interruptions for any roaming Service.
* Monitoring & analysis of ISUP, SIP, SCCP, TCAP, MAP,CAMEL, Diameter faults in STC network.
* Ensure the proper usage of Roaming skill and Tools.
* Identify Strong and Week Roaming Areas, and binding-up the Roaming services gap.
* Maintain & Record keeping of test SIM cards, Ensure frequent audits to avoid any loss, theft, damage stc SIM cards.

Fraud Control:
* Investigate & take appropriate actions to prevent any loss of STC revenue due to Roaming fraud by inbound or outbound roamers.
* Coordinate with RPs to correct Roaming data for both inbound & outbound to stop fraudulent Roaming services.
* Investigate all Frauds cases, received from related STC Departments (Marketing, Fraud, MTAC, SEC/SOC/TP/UPM or RPs ettc) for Fraud TAP Files and Fraud usage of Prepaid Roaming Services.
* Analyze the "CRV" (CAMEL Roaming and Verification) Reports and take appropriate action to stop revenue leakage.

You will bring
* Education: bachelor's degree in Telecommunication or any equivalent engineering degree
* ‎3-‎6 years of experience including ‎3 years of minimum experience in Ericsson core Operation & Maintenance
* Experience with Ericsson Core (EPG, MME, MSC, HLR, IPSTP, DEA, HSS, PG) alarm, other vendors experience.
* Language requirements: Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.
* Good knowledge of the network topology, its E2E signaling handling.
* Excellent Protocol analyzer experience
