Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented Project Engineer -
Mechanical to join our team!
In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction,
and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah
Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to
become Riyadh's new Central Business District that combines a mixture of
world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary
residences in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Performs a variety of engineering tasks by applying standard engineering
techniques and analyses within a discipline. The Engineer at this level has
experience and an increasing proficiency in the utilization of engineering
theories and practices, and Company procedures. Some assignments involve CAE
(computer-aided engineering)/CAD (computer-aided design) applications.
Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site
locations, is expected.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other
materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing
CAE/CAD as applicable. Prepares standard engineering computations, material
quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs. Prepares detailed
requisitions for equipment and materials.
Reviews small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists
in performing technical bid analyses. Prepares and issues specifications, data
sheets, and other construction documents. Provides input and technical
guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and other Engineers working on
the same project.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be
appropriate.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 2-5 years of
related work experience.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated
with engineering is required.
