The Job Opportunity
Serco will be delivering consultancy services with regards to the management
of the airport maintenance service providers and Operational Strategy
(including Facilities Management, Digital Transformation and Asset
Management), Capital Projects Handover, and assisting the client through the
required tender procurement process for eventual appointment of the required
service providers for the operational stage (as needed). Serco’s provision of
consultancy services will also extend throughout the operational stage of the
project.
Additionally, The purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with the
Contract and will be the prime point of interface between Serco, RAC and the
TFM SPs. Serving as an intermediary between frontline FMMA delivery teams and
Serco’s FMMA management team; this individual will ensure smooth Projects
handover handover and decision-making processes are implemented, will hold key
relationships within the airport, inform key activities based on client
intelligence and will take responsibility for all public relations for the
contract
We are looking for a candidate who has excellent communication and
influencing, persuasion and engagement skills, ability to build strong trust-
based relationships with senior stakeholders, and good team player.
Key accountabilities Under Capital Project Manager’s direction, Perform the
role of the client-side representation with responsibility to undertake
handover of projects from the client projects team to maintenance department
and coordinate/handover RFI to service provide teams as needed to maintain
service delivery standards Prepare and present handover briefing information
to the FMMA team and client to facilitate commissioning of OPEX and CAPEX
projects Represent Serco when meeting with the customers, stakeholders, the
financial community and the public in order to enhance reputation and foster a
partnership approach to relationships. Resolves problems associated with
projects. Works with a variety of people to solve technical, legal, and
logistical problems, including those that are unanticipated Lead customer
service excellence and a continuous improvement culture, so that the business
remains at the leading edge of service delivery and value. Perform and carry
out other duties as instructed / directed by the General Manager. This
includes resolving stakeholder issues, issuance of airport passes, vehicle
passes, scheduling meetings with client’s executive management, arranging
events etc. Identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue
and organic growth for Serco Develop and implement a senior stakeholder
management strategy that ensures Serco Transportation is represented in key
forums and decision making processes. Manage the day-to-day relationship with
stakeholders to ensure they are aware of important developments
Specific requirements Minimum 4 years’ experience in Project Management field
on national / international major projects Expert in use and administration of
document management systems. Extensive experience of working internationally
(preference for Middle East / KSA). A proven track record of instituting
continuous improvement Completion of higher education such as University
Degree More than 3 years of relevant work experience with Document Management
system
