Position Summary
To assist all KAPSARC's treasury related processes to facilitate the
achievement of business objectives whilst ensuring accuracy and alignment with
accounting principles and frameworks.
Major Accountabilities
Treasury
* Support all treasury activities to ensure liquidity is provided in a cost-effective manner, so that all remittances are accounted for and KAPSARC optimizes remittances from investments while also reporting and projecting KAPSARC's cash flows.
* Acquire market intelligence, and new developments in the field, and ensure effective cash management through the investment of working capital, surplus funds, and financial investments to ensure that optimal returns are achieved, and appropriate fund management procedures are in place at an appropriate and agreed level of risk.
* Ensure all aspects of treasury P&L and reporting are substantiated to a high level of accuracy with accompanying analysis of variances.
Cash Management
* Support the implementation of systems and controls for receipt and disbursements of funds and forecasting short and mid-term cash requirements, in order to ensure disbursements are in line with KAPSARC's established financial policies and procedures.
* Ensure proper credit lines and cash liquidity are available to stakeholders, in order to meet their financial obligations.
Insurance Management
* Support the execution of all insurance activities, including the facilitation of comprehensive insurance programs and seamless claims management process, to ensure the insurer is provided with all the relevant documentation to conduct a fair and objective assessment of the incident.
Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
* Provide inputs to the design and implementation of policies, systems, and procedures so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
* Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications and Experience
Recommended Qualifications and Years of Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or any other related field, with 2-5 years of relevant experience OR
* Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or any other related field, with 0-3 years of relevant experience
* Professional certification such as CTP/ CTM/ CFA/ CFP is preferable
