The Group is structured across two divisions: Ornua Foods and Ornua
Ingredients.

Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua’s consumer
brands including Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Kerrygold, Avantage,
Forto, and BEO. Markets are served by production facilities and in-market
sales and marketing teams in Africa, Asia, Germany, Ireland, the UK, the rest
of Europe, the Middle East, and the US.

Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish
dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and
foodservice customers across the world. Ornua Ingredients is also responsible
for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The
business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK,
the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities
Manage production areas of the plant including shift, production planning,
processing, packaging, quality, and safety.
Monitor the overall processing activities of the production to ensure customer
orders are scheduled, produced, and stored to meet the requirements.
Cost Control: Responsible for efficiently utilizing labour, materials,
Loss in process and direct overhead costs.
Comply Quality standards: Ensure that the finished products meet the
established product specifications and quality standards as defined by the
Quality Assurance Team
Process Optimization: Continuously analyse production process to maximize
efficiency and minimize costs.
Schedule Management: Ensure a guaranteed processing and production
operation.
Staffing: Ensure an optimized work force in terms of time, quantity and
quality.
Be aware of the weekly & ‎3 month forward rolling production plans and liaise
with of the equipment and smooth and fast filling phase.
Work and assist with Production Lead to produce KPI information and control
documentation for use in tracking and improving performance and efficiency.
To ensure that daily working practices meet with current HSE legislation/ BRC
requirements, operate within the Company’s quality/ health & safety
procedures, providing feedback, or escalating matters as required.
Organize all activities & assign jobs accordingly for staff for shift works
Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and
effective production operation
