The Apex Finance team are looking for an experienced Head of Finance - Vice
President.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the Finance team covering and
reporting to the Regional Head of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical, personnel and operational management of Apex 's Finance function in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia KSA;
* Take a lead role in building and developing a fit-for-purpose Finance team;
* Will work with the Financial Controllers, MDs and Regional Heads to ensure financial information is appropriate for managing the business, its risks and P&L performance;
* Supervise, co-ordinate and execute on the drafting and completion of the annual reports and accounts for KSA
* Supervise and complete the required reporting to the regulatory authorities in KSA;
* Preparation of ad-hoc disclosures to the supervisory authorities in consultation with the respective management board;
* Be the contact in case of accounting and valuation issues, and complex VAT questions;
* Ensure departmental procedures are established and regularly maintained; and that reporting deadlines are met;
* Review and assess the processes within the finance function to seek out process improvements to ensure best practice is implemented with efficiencies:
* Control the timely and accurate input of static data;
* Continual involvement in the financial elements of new projects;
* Act as contact person for auditors, tax consultants and supervisory authorities;
* Manage and work with a series of senior stakeholder and the senior management team. In particular support the decision makers in KSA multi-year planning, capital planning, budget balance sheet, derivation of P&L planning;
* Team management including objective setting, review and ongoing personal development;
* Prioritize resource requirement within each team and ensure effective training and stable performance;
* Liaise closely with the Regional Head of Finance and the other Regional Finance Heads in the Middle East;
* Liaise with business lines and support departments to align and ascertain their requirements;

Skills and Qualifications
* University degree in finance, accounting or related field;
* Accounting designation (CA/CPA or equivalent);
* Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in financial services;
* Strong proven previous experience of leading and managing teams also remotely and working in an international environment;
* Fully conversant in IFRS and GAAP;
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the different time zones and cultures;
* Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff in the organization;
* Reliable, committed, supportive and acts in a professional manner;
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst delivering to a high standard;
* Excellent IT skills, e.g. Workday, Prophix, Financial Force, Blackline are an asset.
