Job Summary:
Provides clinical assistance and clinical supervision to Respiratory
technicians as well as providing Respiratory Care to his/her assigned patient
group whose conditions may require advanced and technical respiratory skills.
Evaluate the respiratory care given necessary and according to physician's
orders or established departmental protocol. Act as supervisor in the absence
of the Chief of Respiratory Care.
Education :
Current valid certification of Basic Life Support or obtaining that within 6 of commencement of employment
Experience:
One year experience is preferable.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge/experience in a variety of mechanical ventilators to include all brands of ventilators.
