Supports technical staff by running routine basic daily tasks including
administrative and managerial duties.
1. Follows instructions from supervisors and understands the assigned tasks.
2. Assists technical staff in routine duties such as sample collection,
logging and preparing them for analysis and running laboratory tests as
directed. May assist in experiments with laboratory animals.
3.Keeps records of supplies and ensures all necessary routine materials and
reagents are available when needed.
4. Washes and sterilizes glassware as well as cleaning laboratory instruments
as part of the typical daily routine.
5. Maintains records of laboratory procedures.
6. Maintains a clean, neat, and organized laboratory workspace.
7. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as
applicable.
8. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Associate Degree/ Diploma of Science from an accredited institution in a
scientific discipline relevant to the research field is required.
No experience with Associate Degree/ Diploma is required.
Evidence of relevant technical experience is preferable.
Evidence of good communication skills.
