Position Summary
The KAPSARC Co-op Training (Internship) Program aims to attract and develop
students and equip them with practical experience in different career paths.
Trainees will gain valuable industry knowledge, ranging from specific energy
domains to enabling functions.
Co-op Tracks
Track 1: Knowledge and Analysis
The research track is for applicants who wish to build technical expertise in
specific domains related to energy research such as oil and gas, electricity
and renewables, climate and sustainability, transportation and infrastructure,
macro-/micro-economics, data wrangling and analytics, mathematical model
management and policy simulator development, and operational systems.
Majors: Public Policy, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics,
Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Sciences, Energy, Environmental
Science.
Track 2: Consulting
The consulting track is for applicants who wish to work with Energy Ecosystem
clients to address their business needs, focus on problem-solving skills,
develop solutions to help with their challenges, and assist them in their
organizational transformation.
Majors: Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management
Information System.
Track 3: Enabling
The professional track is for applicants who want to develop their careers in
specialized career fields such as human resources, information technology,
finance, procurement, communications, public relations, legal, and strategy.
Majors: Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Human
Resources, Media and Public Relation, Translation, Cybersecurity, Computer
Science.
Recommended Qualifications
Candidates interested in becoming part of the KAPSARC team should be:
* Co-op students should be in the final year of completing a bachelor's degree.
* With minimum GPA 4 out of 5 or 3 out of 4.
* Available for a full-time trainee role for 6 months.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Endorsement letter from the concerned university.
