Assists inmanaging the Department mandates and facilitating work processes in
order toachieve performance standards.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Assists inverifying the vendor 's invoices with supporting documents to ensure the paymentagainst the supplies/services received and as per the contract terms.
- Assists inestablishing a (Platform) to automate all financial transactions related toRisk & Financial Control in accordance with the applicable governancestandards and in line with the Hospital's strategies and goals.
- Assists inManaging the implementation of audit plans and direct the activities of theauditors.
- Ensures thatSOPs, Policies and Procedures of various departments under finance departmentconsist of required internal controls.
- Assist in ensuringcompliance with internal controls, policies and procedures and quality standardsin the Risk & Financial Control Department.
- Assists in ensuringawareness of the importance of internal controls to all staff of financedepartment.
- Activelyparticipation in the management of change, with a visible expression ofpresence and attitude to change.
- Facilitatescoalition between cross-functional and cross-business unit to drive alignmentin achievement of the strategic and integrated vision of the Hospital.
- Supervisesrisk control self-assessment pack result and resolve queries related to controlweakness.
- Follows all Hospital's relatedPolicies and Procedures.
- Participates in self andothers' education, training and development, as applicable.
- Performs other related dutiesas assigned.
Education
Master 's orBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is
required.
Experience Required
Seven (7) years of relatedexperiences with Master 's, or nine (9) years with
Bachelor's Degree, includingthree (3) years of experience in a
Senior/Supervisory capacity is required.
Other Requirements(Certificates)
Professional accounting qualification suchas COSO Internal Control
certification, Financial Risk Management, CertifiedManagement Accountant (CMA)
etc. is preferred.
