Job Summary
The role holder is responsible for operating and managing reach truck to load
and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas
(Selective Racking). He is responsible for all the movement of stocks
inside/outside the Racking ensuring the safety of materials and employees
inside the warehouse and accuracy of BIN (Racking) while doing the Picking /
Putaway.
Accountabilities
Core Responsibilities:
* Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
* Organizing and securing stored pallets.
* Putaway & Picking of materials and merchandise from Selective Racking in a safe manner
* Arrangement of the materials inside the Racking
* Locate and move stock of products to pallets for storage (Inbound) or shipment (Outbound)
* Perform Perpetual Inventory & BIN Consolidation inside the Racking
* Ensuring the lead time for Putaway & Picking of materials inside the Racking
* Ensure safety of materials and employees inside the Racking. Promote safe work environment and maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
* Performing routine post and pre inspections to ensure suitable working nature or reach truck equipment.
* Reporting to Supervisor regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards.
* Consulting, working, and coordinating with supervisors, employees regarding unloading, loading, Putaway and Picking operations.
* Completing Reach truck operator training provided.
* Perform general clean-up tasks to keep the work area clean
* Other duties as assigned.
Educational Qualifications and Certificates
* High school diploma
* Valid Certification to operate Reach Truck
* A minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Reach Truck Driver in warehousing preferably in the selective Racking
